PROJECT STATEMENT

 

Brise-Soleils, as well as the sectional openings in Le Corbusier's Villa Shodhan, act as apertures for light as well as frames for daily activities. The gradual expansion and contraction of sectional openings reveal an invigorating lifestyle and programs.

Interlocking spaces of main programs slowly reveals according to the imaginary daily schedule of client, starting from reception to the roof terrace.

Sectional study and design models are made according to the explosion of layers with section cuts at column rows and midway between them. The revelation of sectional spaces follow the circulation in
the previous stages, in turn showing the changing layers of transparency in Rowe/Slutzky’s writings.
